My favorite project to work on? Well that's a really hard question because I love really all projects. I love seeing different rooms transform into something so different, unique and beautiful. One of my favorite projects that we have done are the two 12ftx77ft -14.5ftx77ft decks. They really transformed the front and the back of the house and made it so that when your hosting you have over 2000 extra sq ft of space! My second one would be a kitchen remodel that we did because the space was challenging for us at first to figure out how to get a good size kitchen in. Normally you walk in and see an L shaped kitchen or a kitchen that has a bunch of different designs but for this one I really wanted to capture the space and give as much storage as possible.
This kitchen project is one that you see all over our business pages because it's one I am really proud of. We had a full open concept and with having an island we never want to take away the space of being able to have a dining room table. So we were working in the corning of the room trying to layout and design but I just did not want a L shaped kitchen when there was so much more space to work with. The one wall was just fully open and gave that space I was looking for so I took the kitchen and ran it wall to wall. (28.5ft to be exact lol) This made for so much space! It gave you wall to wall cabinets and allowed for the proper appliances. Now running this wall to wall and plenty of walk space we were able to incorporate a 16ft island.
Now when your hosting a party you want to be able to see and interact with everyone but normally your cooking before everyone gets there and just touching on odds and ends. Which is why we put the stove top on the back wall and put the sink in the island. The sink and the dishwasher being in the island allowed for you to still talk and hang out with your guest but also clean up. We all know that the party is always where you want to be and this layout allowed for just that!
I am so proud of these projects and the love and care that went into planning and creating these moments for other people to be able to have.
Until next time,
SC Family
